A gorgeous collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Lowden Guitars!
Constructed in County Down, Northern Ireland, Sheeran by Lowden offers up Lowdens design language at a more approachable price point. This example is effecctively a 'Wee Lowden', and is one of 3000 made. Composed of a solid sitka spruce top with laminate figured walnut back and sides, the Equals Edition has plenty of presence, especially considering its 24" scale length. A mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and '=' inlay is present, and plays beautifully in hand. The LR Baggs EAS VTC pickup system sounds wonderful in this example, complimenting a great 'traveler' sized instrument!
Cosmetic condition is excellent with little to no perceivable play wear present. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes the original gig bag.
