Duesenberg

Duesenberg

Duesenberg is a German guitar maker based in Hannover, founded by designer Dieter Gölsdorf in 1986. The name comes from the Duesenberg luxury cars of 1920s and ’30s America, and that Art Deco influence shapes the whole range. Duesenberg’s signature three-step geometry and vintage-inspired lines make their guitars recognisable at a glance, while the engineering underneath is thoroughly modern.

Duesenberg designs nearly all of its own hardware and pickups in-house, from vibrato systems and tuners to bridges and control knobs. Hardware is nickel plated, the way it was done before chrome became the standard. Every instrument is Plek processed and hand finished in Hannover, so the guitars play well and stay consistent from one to the next.

The range covers semi-hollow, chambered and solid-body electric guitars, along with basses and lap steels. Duesenberg instruments are played by artists including Joe Walsh, Mike Campbell, Ron Wood and Dave Stewart, and they suit players working in rock, blues, country, indie and everything in between.

Replay Guitars is an authorised Australian Duesenberg dealer. Every guitar is checked and set up in our Carlton North workshop, and you’re welcome to come in and play one. Shipped Australia-wide, with worldwide shipping available.
