J. Marcario Flamenco 40 Classical (Second-Hand)

A cool flamenco-focused instrument!

Here we have a bit of an oddity. Advertised as a J. Marcario (little to no background on a luthier or brand), this example appears to be a Chinese-made flamenco instrument despite the interior label indicating an origin of France. Composed of a solid spruce top with what appears to be laminated cypress back and sides, this example delivers nice clarity and punch, especially when played with nails in the 'flamenco' style. Two translucent pickguards are fitted to either side of the soundhole, preventing pesky nail damage to the top. 

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing light signs of play wear in the form of minor scratches. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes a gig bag.
