2019 Fender American Performer Mustang Bass Aubergine

A killer Mustang with a cool mod!

The definitive short scale offering, the Mustang Bass has seen widespread use amongst players looking for something with a different sound and response. This particular example, dating to 2019, is from the American Performer range. Composed of an alder body with bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard, these examples feature a 9.5" fretboard radius in addition to a modern 'C' neck profile. Coming in at a 30" scale length, these feel exceptionally comfortable in hand and deliver a very particular and pleasing low end response. This particular example has had a Madlove P90 pickup added in place of the original split-coil pickup. A super fun bass for those that aren't into a JB or PB!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing signs of wear in the form of scratches, primarily concentrated on the back of the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. No case or gig bag included.
