Since the company was first founded by Karl Höfner in 1887, Hofner has been making exceptional musical instruments that have inspired millions thanks to their iconic shapes and designs whilst being adopted by some of the greatest musicians of all time. They can be seen in the hands of Paul McCartney since the Cavern Club days of the Beatles until now, as well as Tina Weymouth in Talking Heads, and even Mark Knopfler's first guitar was a Hofner!
