A 'Ripper' of a bass from Epiphone!

The introduction of the Ripper and Grabber back in the '70s set a new precedent for aggressive, forward bass tone. This later reissue model from Korea takes the established format and introduces a new and more flexible pickup configuration. Composed of a hard maple body, neck, and fretboard. With a J and P-bass pickup configuration and three-way switch, this example delivers the classic Ripper sound without compromising on versatility. An excellent player with '70s charm!

Cosmetic condition is good showing minor wear in the form of scratching, pick marks, and a couple of minor dings. There is some wear to the edge of the fretboard on the bass side, lower frets. There is the remainder of a sticker on the front of the headstock. The three-way switch has been replaced with a high quality, Switchcraft aftermarket part. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
