1990s Fender ST-38 Standard Stratocaster Salmon Pink
$882.00
A standard, domestic offering from Fender Japan!
It doesn't get more iconic than the classic Stratocaster silhouette. This straight ahead offering from Fender Japan represented that 'Standard' model line that offered great playability, whilst being more affordable to the average player than some of the models that specifically aimed to emulate vintage specifications. This example appears to date sometime around the mid 1990s, and features the model designation: ST-38. Finished in what looks to be a salmon pink, this example is composed of a basswood body in combination with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. This particular example appears to have had its original ceramic pickups replaced with a set of unknown alnico pickups. Based off the discrepancy in discolouration, this example has possibly had some plastics replaced. Otherwise, a cool Stratocaster in a very interesting shade of pink!
Cosmetic condition is good showing expected play wear and a selection of dings and scratches located on the front and back of the body as well as the sides. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included. Includes tremolo arm.
