1990s Fender CIJ Telecaster TL62-65US Inca Silver

A cool custom colour Fender from Japan!

Dating to the late 1990s, this model appears to be the TL62-65US which appeared in the Fender Japan catalogue around 1999 and featured an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood board. Originally boasting upgraded US Vintage pickups, this particular example has had the bridge pickup replaced with a Seymour Duncan Hot Tele. Not featured in the catalogue at the time, this example appears to have been a custom order in Inca Silver, not showing any signs of refinishing. This example would have been part of a set colour combo offered through Japanese retailers at the time. 

Cosmetic condition is fair with some discolouration to the finish as well as a handful of dings and play wear present throughout on the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
