1981 Greco EG500C Super Power Custom Ebony

An LP Custom that doesn't break the bank!

Dating to 1981 and coming from the Super Power line, this example captures the look and feel of an LP Custom without costing serious bucks! Composed of a mahogany body with mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard, this example features all the visual hallmarks of an LP Custom. The body is double bound with block fret inlays present, in addition to gold-plated hardware and the split diamond at the headstock. In 1981 they changed the design of the headstock inlay, with this example being closer to what they were doing in 1980. Under the covers appear to be the original pickups, specifically UD models. Internal electronics look good. A great player, ready for many decades of use!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing light scratching and dings/finish chips throughout, with most noticeable chip occurring around the bottom strap pin. Gold plated hardware throughout presents quite well for its age, with the binding showing discolouration throughout. There is a crack in the neck pickup mount. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a gig bag.
