1978 Daion The '78 Heritage Antique Mahogany

A stunning top of the line model from Daion!

Manufactured for Daion by Yamaki in 1978, this example represented one of the higher end offerings from the brand. Boasting a solid spruce top featuring a hand-stained antique mahogany finish, the '78 Heritage is complimented by mahogany back and sides. A beautiful feeling mahogany neck is present in combination with a rosewood fretboard. Uniquely, these examples featured a brass nut and saddle as well as brass fretboard and side positions. Gold plated Rotomatic tuners complete an authentically '70s package! Plenty of punch to its sound with volume and low end galore. 

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with minor play wear and light scratches throughout. There is a minor ding on the top of the guitar. The original piezo has been replaced, and the new one sounds fantastic. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hard case.
