1974 Yamaha FG-200D Natural

A great player from Yamaha!

No doubt one of the most consistent guitar manufacturers throughout their entire history, we've often been impressed with the quality of sound and build from many models across their entire history. This particular example dating to around 1974 was manufactured in Japan and is the FG-200D model. Composed of a laminated spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides, these examples have settled in plenty by this age and deliver a pronounced attack and exceptional clarity. This example possess' a 'V' neck profile which feels excellent in hand. It's always good to play these models and hear how they've settled in over the years!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing the expected dings, scratches, and pick marks throughout. There is some cloudiness to the finish on the back of the body. Overall geometry looks good with room available at the saddle and bridge. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes a hardcase.
