An outrageously cool, vintage fuzzbox!
With quite a small initial window of production from 1966 to 1968, these examples from Mosrite have become highly sought after for their spitty, raspy fuzz sound that is extraordinarily hard to replicate. This particular example features the phenolic board, with components facing inwards, which dates it to around late 1966 to early 1967. Further narrowing things down, this example features ceramic capacitors, planting it firmly towards the end of the run for germanium transistor models. Two of the rubber feet appear to have been replaced. Otherwise, circuitry and components from what we understand all look to be correct. If you're after a fuzz that'll take your head off, this is the one for you!
Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, with the majority of graphics applied to the enclosure retaining legibility. The on/batt/off switch is quite touchy, and requires a bit of finagling to get in the right spot to engage the effect. Otherwise, hardware and electronics are fully functional. No box included.
