1960s Arnold Hoyer Electric Walnut
$887.00
A fascinating German-made example from the 1960s!
One of the more well-known names in the history of German made instruments, this example from Hoyer appears to have been made sometime in the early 1960s and represents one of their solid body offerings. Featuring a thinline solid body construction with an incredibly unique neck join. Effectively the neck slots into the back of the body, with a metal plate and hand screw that secures the neck. This one features all of its original Schaller hardware. Playability has been improved since having a re-fret, as well as the binding replaced. Neck has some serious substance to it, with a noticeable 'D' profile. A very cool example from Germans guitar making history!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing noticeable signs of wear in the form of pick marks, dings, and scuffs throughout the entirety of the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
