It doesn't get more rock 'n' roll than the '78 Trembucker from Seymour Duncan!

Sometime in 1978, Eddie Van Halen (the one and only) provided Seymour Duncan with a PAF to have a look at, specifically in order to have it rewound for some additional 'juice'. That particular experiment resulted in the '78 model, a humbucker composed with an alnico 2 magnet and wound to the same specs as that fabled rewound PAF pickup. The result is a pickup with some serious bite and capable of handling gain without sacrificing clarity and harmonics. This particular example is featured in the 'zebra' configuration, and is the trembucker model, designed for Fender spacing. Additional specifications and dimensions can be found at the embedded link.  These pickups are measured within a range of 9.1K, however due to the packaging having never been open (like new), we have not verified the final output.

Pickup is still sealed within packaging and has not been previously installed.
