A rich harmonic kaleidoscope
Employing a 6-tone sound engine and multi-layered clock generator, the Moog Subharmonicon is a powerful semi-modular polyrhythmic analog synthesizer exploring the intersection of subharmonics, and polyrhythms.
Utilising two analog VCOs in tandem with four Subharmonic oscillators, alongside onboard quantisation and temperament settings, the Subharmonicon creates distinctive chord shapes with a variety of tweak-ability.
A polyrhythmic pair of 4-step sequencers allows for the complex layering of polyrhythms. When utilised with the onboard envelope generators, Moog ladder filter, and analog VCA, these complex rhythms can be shaped and articulated to bring about dynamic articulations.
A 32-point 3.5mm patch bay allows for Subharmonic to be patched into itself, or in combination with other Moog products such as the Mother 32, DFAM, and other Eurorack-compatible gear.
An incredibly versatile and inspiring synthesizer offering from Moog.
