Lakewood Natural Series J-14 CP Spruce (Second-Hand)

A lovely made in Germany example from Lakewood!

Based out of a workshop in Buseck, near Gießen in Hesse, Lakewood have been making exceptionally well built instruments for quite a few years now. This particular example, the J-14 CP model, is one of their Jumbo body offerings, featured with a cutaway. Composed of a European spruce top with mahogany back and sides, this example also boasts a cedro neck with ebony fingerboard. The result is a balanced tone with plenty of projection and articulation. This example comes fitted with the Lakewood Sonic pickup/preamp system, designed in collaboration with Shadow Electronics. A nice player demonstrating German guitar building!

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing only light signs of play wear in the form of minor scratches and pick marks. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes a gig bag.
