Established in 1972 in Québec, Canada, Godin have continued to manufacture a wide array of guitars, famously known for their 'Multiac' nylon string guitars. This particular example is from the 5th Avenue line, specifically the model designation 'SG SF' observed in the soundhole, and finished in black. Composed of Canadian wild cherry hollowbody construction, this example boasts a silver leaf maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Employing a satin finish throughout, this example has excellent resonance. A pickup has been fitted to the neck and pickguard with controls for volume and tone, doing a superb job at complimenting the acoustic qualities of this instrument. A great player with a refined acoustic presence!
Cosmetic condition is good, showing signs of wear in the form of scuffing and scratches throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a hardcase.
