Cargill Custom Guitars S-Style Sunburst (Second-Hand)

An S-Style from one of Melbournes best!

Founded in 1956 by Merv Cargill, Cargill Custom Guitars are renowned for their unique builds and attention to details. This particular example appears to feature a quilted maple top with an alder body, in addition to a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. This one appears to have been built by Merv Cargill, and features a set of Lollar Special single coil pickups under the covers. Other notable features include a micro adjustment on the side of the neck, Schaller tuners, as well as push/pull volume and tone pots which seem to do some interesting pickup configurations or phasing options (we're still a little lost on the switching options!) A robust example with plenty of character!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing signs of wear in the form of dings, scratches, and scuffs marks. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes an aftermarket hardcase. No trem arm.
