In our opinion, perhaps the coolest looking of all Maestro Fuzz-Tone models!

The FZ-1S was released by Maestro in the early 1970s with quite a different circuit, and an even more radical redesign to the pedal housing. Specifically, this models offers two switchable fuzz options, with the first one being the standard fuzz-tone, and the second being a more gated, treble-boosted sound. There's also the option for a balance between the clean and effected signal, which is quite an interesting feature! Sounds gnarly, with plenty of spit and snarl. Think some of Jack White's gated fuzz tones! Really nasty stuff, but in an awesome way!

Reasonable cosmetic condition, and functional! The switch can be a little touchy when switching to the fuzz 2 circuit, however appears to work properly with a little jiggle.
