Perhaps most identifiable as the guitar Kim Thayill played during his time with Soundgarden, the S-100 Polara was originally released back in the '70s and has since gone on to become a cult-favourite model. Featuring an excellent sounding set of Guild HB-1 Alnico 2 pickups, the S-100 Polara also features a double cutaway offset shape, mahogany neck and body, and a very comfy 'U' shape neck.
Plugged in this example sounds dark and aggressive, with plenty of growl and punch.
Cosmetic condition is excellent with all hardware being full functional. Plays well with a low-medium action.
