2019 Fender Player Jazzmaster Capri Orange

Bright orange and with some killer modifications, this Jazzmaster means business! 

The Player range has offered great value for a number of years, with the initial run being exceedingly popular. This particular example from 2019, started its life out with humbuckers, but has since been returned to a somewhat conventional Jazzmaster layout. Composed of an alder body with bolt-on 'C' shape maple neck and pau ferro fretboard, this example comes finished in Capri Orange, a rarer finish initially offered as part of the International Series released in 1979. A 9.5" fretboard radius is present, and the neck features a great feeling satin urethane finish. Under its pickguard, this example has been routed to feature a rhythm circuit, as well as routing for traditional Jazzmaster pickups, and a middle single coil. Jazzmaster pickups appear to be generic alnico examples, as well as the middle single coil. Middle single coil is engaged via the tone control push/push control. Switch tip is a replacement. Sounds lovely with plenty of jangle and chime, with some added tonal flexibility!

Cosmetic condition is good, with the majority of wear showcased on the black pickguard. There are a couple of small dings on the side of the guitar near the output jack. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No trem arm included. Includes a rectangular hardcase.
