Made in the US, the American Special series was made throughout the 2010s as the model below the American Standard/Professional series. This particular example was manufactured as part of the CME exclusive series of Fender guitars, typically with unique features or colours. This example was manufactured in walnut, in contrast to the standard alder appointment!
Startlingly resonant and with a gorgeous grain, this example sounds amazing plugged in, with a rich presence and mid-honk that we think really sets itself apart from other similar models.
Cosmetically in good condition with some very minor scratches and dings throughout.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action.
