A great playing and sounding, all-American Stratocaster!
Coming from Jacks own personal collection, this is a great example of an American Standard Stratocaster from 2012. Starting its life as a HSS configuration, this instrument has had a few noteworthy changes throughout its lifetime. This Stratocaster features its original neck and body, two-point tremolo, neck and middle pickup, pots/wiring, output jack, and neck plate.
Replaced components include switching out the humbucker (original included in case) for a Dimarzio single coil, a replacement pickguard (original included), as well as replacing the plastics for the controls and switch tip. Features a modern Fender 'C' shape neck with a 9.5" radius. The original neck and middle pickups are Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s, which sound predictably amazing with an immensely satisfying low end response. A nice and resonant guitar unplugged, this example delivers the expected 'Strat' sound, albeit more refined and musical.
Cosmetic condition is reasonable, with some noticeable dings located on the body and a ding on the fretboard by the low E string on the 13th fret. This guitar got toured and gigged regularly, so it's got the scars to prove it! Hardware and electronics are fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original Fender hardshell case.
