A modern interpretation of the fabled 'Telecaster Bass'.
Originally introduced in 1968 and Fenders first 'reissue' of the original Precision Bass, the Telecaster Bass has found use with the likes of Dusty Hill of ZZ Top and Chris Squire of Yes. Those original examples have shot up in value however, so why not check out something like this instead? Dating to 2011 and quite surprisingly manufactured in China, the Modern Player Telecaster Bass offers a cool, modern reinterpretation. Composed of an alder body with bolt-on maple neck, this example features a player-friendly 9.5" fretboard radius in addition to a 'C' shape neck profile. Two Modern Player Wide Range humbuckers are present, and offer plenty of tonal variety. Two volume controls and a master tone are present, and offer a beautiful blend between each pickup. A rockin' bass for sure!
Cosmetic condition is good, showing light signs of play wear throughout in the form of dings and scratches. There is evidence of a finish repair on the edge of the treble side horn. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
