The gold standard of American-made Fender guitars!
This particular example comes from the second series of American Standard guitars, manufactured between 2008 and 2012. Being an early 2010 model, this example features a transitional serial number scheme, without either a letter or US prefix.
These examples were noted for having an improved two-point bridge with bent steel saddles, in combination with a Urethane finish which boasted a thinner undercoat. The neck boasted a nice satin finish with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets. Nice comfortable and familiar modern 'C' shape neck as well! Features the standard American pickups with a slightly hotter output from the bridge.
This instrument presents in good condition for its age. Everything is present minor a volume pot being replaced to a push-pull pot. However, from what we can tell, the push-pull isn't engaged to do anything. Has the no-load tone pot, however it only affects the middle pickup and not the bridge pickup.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original Fender-branded SKB case.
