A lovely Tennesse Rose from Gretsch Japan!

The Gretsch reissues produced by Japan are regularly among some of the best modern production Gretsch guitars we've personally encountered, with this example being no exception! Manufactured in 2006, this example is composed of a laminated maple body with maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The real standout is the original set of Hilo'Tron pickups, quite a noteworthy edition in the history of Gretsch pickups, and famously employed by George Harrison no less. Notably, the back of the neck shows some nice flame on the bass side. Bisby equipped and capturing the vibe of early '60s examples, this example is a great player with excellent build quality and immense tonal character!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing light signs of wear in the form of minor scratching and pick wear all throughout. The most noticeable ding is visible from the side of the instrument near the three-way selector switch. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardcase and COA.
