Steve Cropper has had a storied career recording with the likes of Booker T. & the M.G.'s, Otis Redding, and many others! He's perhaps most associated with the Fender Telecaster, so it comes as quite a surprise that he has a signature with Peavey! Boasting a mahogany body with a maple cap alongside a maple neck with rosewood fretboard, the Cropper Classic switches things up with a humbucker/single coil configuration, as opposed to the standard T-style configuration.
This particular example has had a Seymour Duncan JB installed in the bridge and a Dimarzio blade pickup in the neck. Has coil splitting which is fun, and super versatile. This example has an incredible natural sustain that we haven't found on too many other solid body guitars.
Cosmetically it's in okay condition, with some noticeable dings, marks, and scratches throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes an aftermarket gig bag.
