An excellent instrument from a great period for Gibson!
Somewhat reminiscent of an ES-125, the ES-135 takes the best elements of that model and introduces a Balsa sustain block and a more refined presentation. Dated to 1994, this ES-135 features an amazing set of P90 pickups which work in tandem with the thinline design of the instrument. The inclusion of a Bigsby tremolo system makes for a super fun, and incredibly versatile instrument.
In standard Gibson fare, these instruments feature a Maple body and neck with a lovely Rosewood fretboard. This was a good wood period for Gibson and this example does not disappoint. Not too heavy and balanced in hand, this example resonates wonderfully, and sounds excellent both plugged in and unplugged.
Cosmetic condition is good for an instrument of this age with minor scratching swirl marks throughout. Hardware is fully functional minus some light crackling from the pots, and plays well with a low action. Includes hardcase.
