1990s Squier Silver Series SST-33 Stratocaster Sunburst

A fun MIJ Squier!

The Silver Series represented a range of instruments manufactured in Japan primarily intended for Japanese and UK markets. This particular example is the SST-33 model, dating sometime around the early to mid 1990s. Information on body wood is not exactly clear, with various sources indicating basswood or P.A.F. wood fibre. A maple neck with rosewood is present, and features an oval neck profile with 7.25" fretboard radius. This example appears to retain its original ceramic pickups. Tremolo arm appears to be a replacement. Overall a fun little player!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing light wear to the finish throughout as well as minor dings and scratches. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a brown vinyl gig bag.
