1988 Greco 'Super Real Project' FA67-75 Sunburst

A super cool archtop from Greco!

The Super Real moniker for Greco was rebooted sometime around the late 1980s, leading to production of some really nice hollow body instruments such as this example. Dating to 1988, this example is a FA67-75 model finished in sunburst and originally constructed as a fully acoustic example! The body shape is reminiscent of an ES-175, and appears to feature a laminate maple top/back/sides body in tandem with a mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. An aftermarket pickup has been attached to the heel of the neck and is wired straight to the output jack with no volume or tone. It's got a nice attack that is equally rewarding when playing rhythm or lead parts. Neck profile is somewhere between a slim-medium 'C' shape. This particular example looks to have a non-original bridge. A super cool player from Japan!

Cosmetic condition is fair, showing signs throughout the body of wear in the form of dings and minor scratches. The back of the headstock shows a previous minor break which doesn't appear to extend to the face of the headstock. Appears to be fully stable under tensions. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes a soft gig bag.
