1984 Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter Rack Mount Analog Synthesizer
Sold Out
A tonally gargantuan offering from Roland!
Released in 1984, the MKS-80 functions as a sound module version of the fabled Jupiter-6 and Jupiter-8 synthesizers. It is uniquely one of the only MKS modules to boast analogue VCOs, with a voice architecture which is near identical to the Jupiter-6. This example features a 64-patch internal memory which in tandem with the M-64C cartridge, can offer up to 128 patches. Full midi implementation is present with midi in, out, and thru. Hook it up to your keyboard and explore a vast sonic soundscape!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age with enclosure wear present throughout. Includes the M-64C cartridge. This unit has been well maintained and kept in a rack in a studio by previous owner. Almost all controls were tested by us in the workshop and they appear to work flawlessly. The most important part, it sounds absolutely amazing!
