A cool example from a lesser known Japanese brand!

Cimar was established in 1973 by manufacturer, Hoshino Gakki. Initially manufacturing copies of well established American models, they then pivoted to their own designs leading into the '80s. Known as Cimar by Ibanez, the brand eventually went defunct in 1984. This particular example appears to take on some of the familiar design language of the Ibanez Roadstar. Features a SSS configuration consisting of what appear to be original ceramic pickups. The hardware throughout features gold plating which has acquired some patina. These most likely featured a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

Cosmetic condition is good for its age with play wear, light scratching, and minor dings. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. No case or gig bag included.
