A very cool late '70s electric from a time when natural wood finishes reigned supreme!
Manufactured by Matsumoku Industrial Inc, the Vantage brand offered a lot of interesting designs for the US market. The body is made of hard Ash and Maple with a walnut stripe inlay. Features two very lovely sounding humbuckers in tandem with two volume and two tone controls. A two-way switch allows for coil tapping capabilities. Interestingly, it seems when the tone control of each pickup is at 10, it can then be rolled off to bring it from a single coil to a humbucker. Weird, but cool!
Cosmetic condition is reasonable with the expected dings, scratches, and marks. There is of note a noticeable ding/gauge on the bottom of the instrument. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original hardshell case.
