A super clean example of a late '70s Stratocaster, finished in black no less! All the late '70s appointments are present, including an ash body, three-bolt neck plate, original flat pole piece pickups, and of course the large '70s headstock with bullet truss rod adjustment. To round out an already clean package, this example also includes the bridge cover and its original hardshell case!
Cosmetically the instrument is super clean, with very minimal wear throughout, excluding some minor scratches on the front and back of the body. Neck is a comfy C-shape, that rounds out nicely by the 7th fret.
Plugged in, this example is nice and dynamic, owing to the lower output pickups spec'd during this time. 5-way selector switches were also standard during this late '70s period, which in tandem with these pickups, is sufficiently funky!
Hardware is fully functional, and plays great with a low action! Includes the original hard shell case.
