1978 Boss DS-1 Distortion

An incredible sounding, first year example!

Released in 1978, the DS-1 instantly became one of the most recognisable pedals of all time. Finished in a striking orange colour, and in the signature Boss pedal enclosure, this example with its long dash, silver screw, black back, and serial number make this a rare first year model! This example sounds unlike any modern ones we've played, and has quickly become one of our favourite distortion pedals in-store. Takes a power supply just fine, but has had the battery power taped up. 

Cosmetic condition is reasonable for its age, with some wear throughout the enclosure. Hardware and electronics functioning. No box included.
