A collectors piece for those into old Kay guitars!
This example from the '60s is an excellent condition, Kay Jazz II finished in a gorgeous sunburst finish. Outside of a replacement switch tip and nut, this example presents all original and in stunning cosmetic condition. The original Gibson-made 'Kleenex Box' P-35 pickups are present and sound exceptional.
Devoid of the Kay badge on the headstock, we and another US dealer believe this example to have been by another company that Kay made instruments for. Grover tuners are original to this instrument and feel great. These were made with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards which of course look stunning in person.
Cosmetic condition is exceptional, with little to no blemishes or even dings. Only very minor scratching/swirl marks throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. In similarly excellent condition, is the original hardcase.
