A gorgeous flamenco example from Barcelona, Spain!
Dating to some time during the 1960s, this example from Juan Estruch has immense tonal character and exceptional playability to boot. Composed of a solid german spruce top with cypress back and sides, this example delivers a nice and articulate attack that rewards the more intense playing style of a flamenco musician. A rosewood fretboard is present with a reinforced cedar neck, and sports a nut width of 51mm. Overall construction appears to be handmade and is quite a visual treat that has really developed a great sound over the years!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing signs of wear throughout in the form of scratches and dings. There is a visible crack repair just below the bridge. The saddle is quite low. Hardware is fully functional, with a comfortable flamenco action. Includes a hardcase.
