A funky and exceedingly cool model from Guyatone!

Japan was an absolute powerhouse when it came to guitar manufacturing in the 1960s. The most interesting models came from manufacturers like Guyatone and Teisco, taking inspiration from the likes of Mosrite and making some seriously odd and exceedingly fun models. This particular example dates to the late 1960s and is the LG-350 Sharp 5, associated with the Japanese surf band of the same name. Composed of a laminated body with a german carve, these feature a 24" scale length with a nice thin profile. Pickups appear original to this example, and very well look and sound like clones of Fender Jaguar pickups.

Cosmetic condition is good for its age showing some finish checking on the front and back of the instrument. There are dings and scratches present throughout the instrument. There is a noticeable scuff on the bottom of the guitar by the binding. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
