1950s Harmony H600 'Roy Rogers' Sunburst

A real cowboys guitar!

These department store cowboy guitars are just about the coolest couch guitars you could ever get your hands on. Coming in at a small 21 1/2" scale length, this example was manufactured by Harmony back in the 1950s and has quite impressively retained the graphics stencilled on the front of the body and the headstock. This example also retains its original tuners, with the only noticeable modification being a later nut. Nice and boxy, this example is so much fun!

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing the expected signs of wear in the form of scratches, finish checking, dings, hardware corrosion, and scuffs. The bridge shows a little separation from the body, but is bolted into the top with what looks to be some dabs of glue added in the gap sometime ago. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. Includes an aftermarket gig bag.
