This particular example, dating to 1964, is the model 5\/116-52 (as denoted on its interior label). Featuring a double cutaway, hollowbody construction composed of spruce as well as a rosewood fretboard, these examples are somewhat evocative of a Casino or 330. Most examples typically feature an oval control plate, however this example has its controls mounted alongside the treble side f-hole. Also peculiar for this model is a tortoiseshell control plate on the bass side horn, which you typically only see on Fret Jet models of this period. Has controls to engage each pickup, as well as individual volume and tone controls. The neck profile on this one is chunky with some serious shoulders, making for quite a fun playing experience!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing light wear in the form of scratches throughout the body with some minor dings present. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Missing tremolo arm and pickguard. Two of the reflectors have popped off the top of the knobs, but are included in the case.
