This particular example comes from Honey, whose guitars came out of the Teisco Gen Gakki factory. A short run, the company only existed from 1967 to 1969, placing this example within that period. Taking direct inspiration from a certain US guitar manufacturer, this example has some cool features including a zero fret, two pickup layout with three-way toggle, and a trapeze tailpiece. Everything present appears to be correct and original to this model from what we can tell. A nice rounded low end with some good mid-range, this example is a great representation of some of the cool instruments Japan was producing during the '60s!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing signs of wear in the form dings and scratches throughout the entire instrument. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action (albeit with a few high frets beyond the 12th fret). No case or gig bag included.
