We believe these were made in a fairly limited run during the mid-'90s and is likely modelled off the 1935 Martin D-28 owned by bluegrass legend Tony Rice which had its sound-hole enlarged. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall the guitar sounds phenomenal and plays great. It's a wonderfully light build for a D-28. There is some wear as would be expected from a 30 year old instrument, and some areas where binding has become un-glued and re-glued. The nut has also been filled in at the G string to give the slot a little more height.
